Welcome to Motilal Nehru Law College
The LL.M. (Criminal Law Group-B) is a 2-year postgraduate program designed to provide advanced knowledge in criminal law, new criminal legislations (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 & Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023), cyber law, and practical legal training. The program focuses on developing research skills, analytical thinking, and professional competence for careers in litigation, judiciary, academia, and legal consultancy.
Students will gain in-depth understanding of substantive and procedural criminal law, legal research methodology, and contemporary issues in criminal justice system. The course includes moot courts, workshops, internships, and dissertation work.
Comprehensive study of New Criminal Laws, advanced criminal jurisprudence, cyber crimes, legal research, and practical application through moot courts and internships.
Upon successful completion, students receive LL.M. degree from Gujarat University along with certificate of participation in practical training programs.
The curriculum is designed as per Gujarat University guidelines with special focus on new criminal laws effective from 1st July 2024.
